Run an attendance upload

  • Students that show up with missing attendance. - You can manually correct their attendance by pulling up them up in sis - enrollment -student attendance- edit and adjust the number of days according to the district calendrer.  
  • REO Students Attendance - The attending school needs to enter their attendance. You can send those name to Janine and ask them to reach out to the attending school so that they can enter their attendance.

Run Teacher Course Assignments



Run an EC Rating upload - Share discrepancies with Janine and staff to resolve


Post Final Grades for Field - to do this you will need to make sure that there is a transaction start date for all courses. 

This will add an end date so that when you upload the data in sis their  grade will post. 

To add a transaction date , go to each entity and  Office-Current Scheduling-Student Scheduling-Setup-utilities Mass create Initial Add Scheduling Transaction, enter the first day for the current school year. Do the same steps for each entity 

In the 1000 entity  - Federal State Reporting - SIS - Export - Run  Student Course Assignment (UNCHECK the box for "Export Classes Records Without Grades) This will post student final grades. 


Post Final grades for Winkelman - You will need to mass change T3 grades to "P" to do so go to the 100 entity Office, grading, setup, utilities  "Mass change selected grade marks" use the premade template Assign P to k-5 edit check the box for T3 set the school year to the current school year and the New Grade Mark to P. You can set the grade level and run. Once you run the utility go to the 1000 entity Federal State reporting SCA *uncheck the box for "Export class records without grades" and run.


Check in SIS to make sure that 8th graders who took Algebra 1 are uploaded to sis

How do I verify my district’s Percent 8th Graders Taking Algebra I data in SIS?

View the Percent 8th Graders Taking Algebra I (Detail) Report in SIS.

1. Login to SIS via IWAS.

2. Click on Reports in the menu on the left.

3. Click on the Plus Sign (+) next to State Reporting to go to the “Report Card and

Accountability Reports” section.

4. Click on Detail next to Percent 8th Graders Taking Algebra I.

5. Select Report Criteria, including:

 School Year

 School

 Show Courses: Yes or No

6. Click on Create PDF Report button to display report.

7. Verify that the Percent 8th Graders Taking Algebra I data (student course

assignments) accurately reflect your local student management information.

 Run a 504 upload

Run the Discipline upload for all grades

After the last day of school, run the Student Attendance upload to cover the last few days of that current month (June).


7 Mass create an exit date for all students.

In each entity

Setup

Unities

Mass Create of Student Withdrawal Record

**Change to Active Students**

Graduated No

Select All Schools

All Calendars

Enter the last day of school as the withdrawal date 

Run

*Not need to check the boxes for set current year to active or close open transportation records 


8 Once this is done you can start to mass exit students by grade

Print the errors as you will need to resolve these individually 


Check sis for students that are still enrolled by going to iwas

*common issues are that the building secretaries will find a student that is not supposed to be in Skyward and delete them, however you will have already uploaded their demographic info to sis.
