Importing New Student data from InfoSnap to Skyward

Login to Infosnap

Select the link for the appropriate registration year 

From submission Workspace, choose Pending delivery 

Check the box next to the student

Select task

Deliver Data

Selected Only

Approve All

Popup box will appear for creating data delivery batch

Choose OK

This will take you to Confirm and Finish

Choose Finish Delivery

You will see Data deliver has been completed, you will need to click on the 3 links to download the data. Phoneupdates, PowerSchool student and PowerSchool Contacts. Save the data in your downloads file

Find the file for PowerSchoolReg_Students and change F1/G1 Relation  F1/G2 Relation

from Mother and Father to Mot and Fat and save it again, you can select save as and replace the original. This is done because when importing the student data, Skyward does not recognize Mother and Father and instead it needs to say Mot or Fat. 

Now login to Skyward

Administration

Import File builder

Select  Infosnap v2.1 Infosnap v2.1 ***USE THIS ONE*

Select the drop down arrow next to the name

Infosnap Students  edit

Scroll down to "Import File Upload"

Choose File

From your files that you downloaded choose "PowerSchoolReg_Students" and save

Do the same steps for contacts

Select Import
